The Alpabasa Reading Program is a play-based, child-centered reading program, systematically designed to make reading and writing in Filipino fun and easy. With a deep understanding of the brain processes at work, the Alpabasa Reading Program targets reading skills in a way that motivates children to play with language (build, manipulate, apply) and challenges teachers to think outside the box. The action songs and movement-based activities help children discover and experience the richness of the Filipino language and culture. Through a progression of fluency-based exercises, children strengthen their reading skills while building a sense of accomplishment.
